Foaled in 1995, Stanley is a chestnut Belgian / Quarter Horse cross gelding who is Angela first love. Stanley first started at Caledon Equestrian School where Angela first rode and got her coaching, they started showing together in 2002!  Stanley taught many many riders over the years at Caledon and when the time was right Angela brought him home to her farm and then to Kuruka once she bought the farm. In his younger years, he was Angela’s dressage mount and came out of retirement to be able to teach some of our students the fundamentals of riding, from their first time on a horse, first canter, first jump and first show season.. At 15.1 hh, he loves the attention that the students lavish on him – especially if they have treats! 

Stanley has been retired from the riding school since 2022, but comes out to play for Angela’s children to enjoy going on some nice walks
