Oliver arrived at Kuruka in 2019 as a Jumper/Dressage prospect for Katie & her mom Callie. He came as a very green broke, wiggly, spooky, and anxious guy and since then he has blossomed into such an amazing horse. He overcame many obstacles in the first few years of Katie & Callie owning him, including surgery, restarts and rehabs. It was a lot of trial and error, research, and patience. They never had a timeline for him, they just wanted him to be happy! He made such a huge change in both of their lives since the first day he came home. They (mostly Callie) put in over a year of just ground-work and connection work (using Warwick Schiller methods) and it changed his entire attitude! He has since become such a loveable, cuddly guy and loves to be around his people. He’s the biggest goof with the biggest personality, and we wouldn’t have it any other way! He just likes to be big in all aspects! With his smooth comfy trot and canter, Oliver is an Equitation King! Although he is new to showing, he loves to jump and he rocks it in the flat classes! He is always noticed at the shows, with his flashy features, and big loveable face! We hope to continue his show career in the future!
