Maya joined Kuruka in October 2025 and quickly became a barn favorite. With her cute movement and easy, consistent rhythm, she is a lovely Large Pony ready for a rider looking to step into the Silver circuit in 2026.
Maya has previously shown successfully in the Large Pony division on both the Trillium and Silver circuits, placing very well in large, competitive classes. She comfortably jumps a 2’9” course and is an enjoyable, confident partner in the ring.
On the ground, Maya is a sweet, laid-back mare with more whoa than go, though she does enjoy her job and can be a bit more forward over fences. She loves attention, enjoys show days, and is a pleasure to have in the barn. Whether you’re grooming her in the aisle or heading into the ring, she’s always happy to show off her smile.
Maya would thrive with a capable junior or small adult looking to join our 2026 Silver Team and commit to a consistent in-barn program.
