NEW! Online Courses and Activities
To help you pass the time as you stay home to stay safe, I have created the following online courses on Google Classroom!
1) EQUINE THEORY COURSES
This will be divided into 3 courses – Intro (Rider Level 1-2-3), Intermediate(Rider Level 4-5-6) and Advanced (Rider Level 7-8)
These courses are designed around the EC Rider Level Program but anyone can register, you do not need to be working towards your rider levels to take these courses. You will learn about horse care, anatomy, health and much more.
I will cover all theory required in written, oral and practical Rider level components. This is offered as a supplement to the mini clinics we did this winter but also in place of the theory we would cover at Rider Level Camp. Those that complete the online course can choose to do a practical/riding intensive “rider level camp” in the future.
This course will be open to outside riders as well as Kuruka Riders. Fee for outside registrants will be $175 for the course.
Please contact me if you want to register
2) RIDER LEVEL REVIEW COURSE
This course will include review sheets and practice quizzes for all levels.
I will provide review materials required in written, oral and practical Rider level components.
This is offered for those who would like to learn independently through Rider Level manuals but wish to have some feedback on how they are progressing in their comprehension of the material. Video Conference calls (Zoom) will happen once a week to go over study material.
This course will be open to outside riders as well as Kuruka Riders. Fee for outside registrants will be $75.
Please contact me if you want to register
3) BANDAGING BASICS
This course is the theory component of the Bandaging Mini Clinic that we had to cancel.
The Bandaging basics online component will be available starting April 16th to April 19th.
We will have a Video Conference (Zoom) on April 19th to go over material and so I can do demonstrations.
This course will be advertised and open to outside riders as well as Kuruka Riders. Fee for outside registrants will be $40.
