“Polar Express”

Polar is a 1985 Welsh Grey Mare who was our “Been There, Done That” mare. She had the most important job… teaching the smallest of small beginners the fundamentals of riding. In her younger years, she was a regular on the hunt scene, Polar has been retired from work since October 2017. She has been enjoying her paddock time. I was lucky enough to purchase Polar 8 years ago under the agreement that when Polar was ready to retire that she would return to her previous owner who had owned her for over 15 years. After a lot of thought, although I am very sad to say good bye, Polar will be leaving at the end of April 2018 to her retirement home. She will be spoiled and pampered with a stall at night and will be with very familiar people who love her as much we do. I feel this is the right thing to do and I am confident she will be happy.
